Staff Attorney

TITLE: STAFF ATTORNEY

MISSISSIPPI CENTER FOR LEGAL SERVICES is seeking a staff attorney for its Jackson Office.

QUALIFICATIONS:
Must be licensed to practice law in the state of Mississippi. Experience preferred.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Include but are not limited to providing legal representation to clients seeking assistance in areas such as family, housing, consumer, income maintenance and other civil matters. Other responsibilities include but are not limited to reviewing and supervising work product of support staff, circuit riding when required. Graduate of an accredited law school; have demonstrable interest in the area of poverty law and working with low income persons; and perform other related tasks as required. 

SALARY/FRINGE BENEFITS: Depending on Experience; Excellent fringe benefits.
